Play for a Purpose - KM Global

Brief Summary: This is my capstone project, which is a community service project intended to benefit an organization. This event is a quad's grass volleyball tournament with all proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The event will occur on July 26th. There are teams of 4, and the price is $25 per person; and the registration fee is non-refundable. This event will take place in the lower grass field at Kettle Moraine High School. At the event, concessions will be available for purchase, there will also be food trucks and vendors present. Any additional donations will be accepted at the concessions table. All scores will be reported back to the tournament desk. All balls will be provided. Thanks to the generosity of FriscoMo, everyone who registers will receive a FriscoMo T-shirt, and the winners will receive FriscoMo shorts. Date of Event: July 26th, starting at 8:00 am, running mid-early afternoon Registration ends: July 5th Divisions: There will be a division for high school boys and one for girls. There will also be an adult division open to ages 18+; if there are graduated seniors who want to play with past high school friends, they can play in the high school division. If the whole team is 18, they will be in the adult divisions. The adult division is a Coed division on each team there is a required minimum of at least 2 girls. Volleyball Liability Waiver and Release Form: I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in volleyball involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, or more serious injuries. I voluntarily agree to participate in this activity and assume all risks associated with my participation. I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Kettle Moraine School District employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during or as a result of my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I certify that I am physically fit to participate in volleyball and have no medical conditions that would impair my ability to do so. Fundraiser for National History Day National Competition

Three Kettle Moraine students were named state champions at Saturday’s National History Day (NHD) competition held at UW–Madison. They will now advance to the national contest in June, where they will present their research alongside students from across the U.S. and around the world. Recently, the NHD program experienced unexpected financial challenges due to cancelled grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. This means schools must fundraise to participate in the valuable academic competition. Sixth graders Cecilia H. and Reagan H. earned top honors for their website, Balancing Individual Rights and Shared Responsibilities in a Democratic Society, which explored the history of Social Security. HS^2 junior Emma Manion won first place for her individual performance titled, Ada Deer: Rights and Responsibilities in the Pursuit of Restoration of the Menominee Indian Tribe. Each year, approximately 500,000 students participate in NHD, including 10,000 from Wisconsin. This achievement is a tremendous honor for both the students and the Kettle Moraine School District. The cost for each student to attend the national event—held at the University of Maryland’s College Park campus—is significant. Registration is approximately $165, with lodging and meals totaling around $606. Travel expenses add another $600 per student.

Donations Honoring Austin Workman

Austin left this world far too soon, but he left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service that will never be forgotten. He was a remarkable man, a devoted husband and father, and an inspiring human being. He truly was an angel to everyone that got to meet him. Austin was known for his genuine heart, strong work ethic, and ability to make everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty made a lasting impression on all who knew him. Always ready to lend a helping hand or offer encouragement, Austin made a difference in countless lives. In lieu of flowers, his family is providing an opportunity to donate money to Dousman Elementary, his daughters' school.

2025 Dousman VIP Day

On VIP Day, Friday, May 16, 2025, students may invite their special guests to join them for an ice cream social and a tour of their school. Please be sure to have your student show off their classroom and visit the Book Fair in Frog Alley! There will also be an opportunity for special guests to have their photo taken with their students at the photo booth located near the main entrance to the school. Be sure to bring your camera! Ticket sales close Thurssday, May 15 at noon. Cost for each guest is $7. There is no charge for Dousman Elementary students' ice cream. Due to the need to preorder a large quantity of custard for this event, we are unable to accommodate day-of ticket sales. We welcome additional visitors to our classrooms but are unable to accommodate any cash or card tickets sales at the event. Thank you for your understanding. KM LAX Blast 2025

The Kettle Moraine Lacrosse Club is holding its 7th annual LAX BLAST on Saturday March 15th from 6:30pm-10:30pm at Western Lakes Golf Club. A club-wide activity for anyone over age 21, the purpose of this fun-filled event is to raise funds for the boys and girls KM Lacrosse club for youth through high school students. Proceeds will be used for equipment, balls, goals, and numerous other items and activities to provide the best possible experience with this exciting sport they all love. Dear Prospective Kettle Moraine Wrestling Sponsor, We would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this and consider our needs. In an effort to not put an extra burden on the wrestlers, we are moving away from a traditional Fundraiser where each family is asked to sell, collect money, and deliver goods. The beauty of this Fundraiser, 100% of the funds collected will directly impact the wrestling team. In an effort to increase the experience for the wrestlers we are raising money so that we will be able to travel to an overnight wrestling tournament. This brunch, provided by KM culinary students, will bring KM staff and area First Responders together to celebrate the holiday season and our long history of partnership. Thank you to Albrecht's Sentry for kicking off our fundraising with a $150 donation! When: December 19th from 10 am - 1 pm Where: KM High School Culinary Kitchen B20 (hallway) Culinary students will select recipes, budget their meal plan, prepare dishes, and serve brunch at stations. KM Perform students will create portraits to decorate the hallway and band students will be playing holiday music throughout the luncheon. KMHS Band Presents Breakfast with Santa and Craft Fair!!! Come to celebrate the holiday season with your friends and family at Kettle Moraine High School’s Breakfast With Santa and Holiday Craft Fair! Meet Santa’s elves, take a picture with Santa while you grab a bite to eat and listen to some festive music performed by district music students! There are also plenty of fun crafts and activities, so make sure you don’t miss out! The Pancake Breakfast with all the fixings is from 8:30am-11:30am and is $8 for children 10 and under and $12 for everyone else. Ticket Sales will close Friday, December 6th at 12 noon. QUEENS WISDAA One Act 2024 Home Stage Performance

Every two years KMHS Theatre mounts a production for participation in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech, Debate and Dramatic Arts Association One Act Contest. This year the One Act is "Queens (One Act ed)", drama about the wives of Henry VIII. This performance is our ONE show on our home stage, though the contest series includes performances at Waterford Union High School, Kenosha Tremper High School, and possibly UW- Milwaukee. Synopsis: Henry VIII is trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by two sinister Fools and an ensemble of women from his past life. Here in his gilded cage, he is forced to relive the sins he committed against his queens, mistresses, and people of the court - over and over again- for an eternity. Special focus on the 6 famous wives of Henry VIII, this is a dramatic play with similar plot points to the popular musical SIX.

Dousman Elementary's annual Fun Run will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024. Students will run the course while raising funds through pledges for their efforts! Dousman families, we need you to join us for the most epic day of the year at Dousman Elementary! Dousman Elementary's annual Fun Run is the primary fundraiser for our school that provides many special opportunities for our students. Funds raised support all-school field trips, and annual PTO-sponsored events. 2024 KMHS Football Packer Ticket Raffle Fundraiser

Through a generous donation from a KM football family we have an amazing opportunity for a chance to WIN 4 tickets to the Dec. 23rd 7:15pm Monday Night Green Bay Packer vs the New Orleans Saints game at Lambeau Field. The 4 tickets are in section 435 outdoor club seating. From outdoor club seats, you can go inside, sit at a bar, order food, and watch the game from inside as well. The picture is a view from the seats, also from these seats you can take an elevator up to the south scoreboard loft & bar area which is a great place to watch the flyover if there is one. There's a great view of the stadium and all of Green Bay from there as well. Each ticket costs $50. All tickets must be purchased by 10/7/24 All funds from this fundraiser will go to providing equipment upgrades to help make our football season a huge success! KM Girls Youth Soccer Camp

Girls Youth Soccer Camp When: Wednesday August 14th 1:00-4:00pm Where: KMHS lower soccer fields (north side of the building, west of the softball fields) Who: Open to all girls going into grades 3 through 8 Price: $40 per student The soccer camp will focus on the technical and tactical aspects of the game through different training exercises. Players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level to provide a competitive and fun learning environment for all players. KM 2024 Cheerleading Clinic

Attention 4K-5th Graders! Be part of the traditions of Kettle Moraine High School and participate in our 2024 Football Cheerleading Clinic! The students will be taught cheers, jumps and a cheer dance routine all while having fun with the KMHS Cheerleaders! The theme for this year's Youth Cheer Clinic is "It's Our Era!" All participants will receive a t-shirt, hair bow and poms to perform with at the Varsity Football game. Admission for the game is ONLY included for the athlete participating. All other spectators must purchase admission to the game! Clinic Dates: Tuesday September 10th, 5:30pm to 7:15pm at Wales Elementary School Thursday September 12th, 5:30pm to 7:15pm at Wales Elementary School **Check-In will begin at 5:15pm on both clinic nights.
