2026 PVMS Zoo Fieldtrip

Dear Parents/Guardians, The Milwaukee County Zoo is a fascinating world of wild mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles. There is something for everyone to learn! Your student’s homeroom won this year’s spirit point race and therefore is invited on a field trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo. Here are the details: Date + Time: Thursday, May 21 -a blue day. Students will depart school at 9am and return by 2:30 pm Cost: $20 Cash or Checks are payable to Park View Middle School OR pay online by scanning the QR code to the right (All students must turn in the lower signed portion) Cost is non-refundable as Zoo admission is purchased in advance If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact our school Social Worker, Brandice Clauff at claufbr@masd.k12.wi.us Additional Info: Please provide your student money for lunch, souvenirs and/or rides To remain eligible for the school-sponsored trip, the following criteria applies: Students must be passing all Quarter 4 classes by Friday, May 15th. 2026 / PVMS 8th Grade / Six Flags Great America Field Trip

Your child is invited to attend the 8th grade field trip to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL, on Monday, June 8. Students will board buses at Park View between 8:30-9:00 a.m. and will return to Park View at 7:00 p.m. Students will come to school at the normal time that morning. Cost: $60 for park admission & bus fare (Season Pass holders pay only $15 for bus fare) Cash, check (made out to PVMS), or online - Classmunity - link is in the Parent Newsletter NO refunds will be issued if your child can no longer attend Provide your child with money for lunch, souvenirs, etc. (Six Flags is a NO CASH site - there are machines to convert cash to card) If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Brandice Clauff, our school Social Worker, at claufbr@masd.k12.wi.us. Ticket sales will end on Wednesday, May 13th. Additional Info: To remain eligible for this school-sponsored trip, the following criteria will apply: No Out of School Suspensions Less than 3 office referrals entered via Infinite Campus Less than 2 “F” grades from the following classes: End-of-Year Grade - ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies Elective and Exploratory classes for BOTH Quarter #3 & #4 Administration will make all final decisions on eligibility. The water park will NOT be open, dress for the weather & bring sunscreen. If your child wishes to ride the same bus as a friend, please staple the permission slip to the friend’s prior to turning in. Only 2 can be stapled together! We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Park View Middle School FAME Night 4/24/26

The Park View Middle School Parent Advisory Group is planning a Student Activity Night for current 6th-8th-grade students. This event will take place on Friday, April 24th, from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy a safe and affordable evening of entertainment with peers! Admission is $10.00 with a pre-purchased ticket or $15.00 at the door. Students may arrive anytime between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. No students will be admitted after 7:30 p.m. Students must stay until 9:00 p.m. unless the child's parent comes in to check their child out with a staff member. By purchasing a ticket for this event, parents are granting permission for their child to attend the event and understand the risks associated with participation, and will not hold PVMS PAG liable for the actions of their child during the event. If you are interested in volunteering to help on FAME night, your child can attend for free! MHS Bands Butter Braids Fundraiser

The marching band is traveling to Indianapolis for the Drum Corps International Preliminary Finals Competition, to see the "major league" of marching band competitions! To support individual student trip costs, we are selling Butter Braids. Butter Braids are hand-braided, flaky pastries filled with fruit, cheese, or cinnamon. Please order directly through an individual student's link - you will need to contact them to receive it. This ensures the funds are credited toward their trip. Students will pick up orders on June 1st.
