Mamma Mia 25-26: Parent Playbill Shout Outs

by: PJ Uhazie

One of the ways you can support your cast crew or pit member, and our musical theater program is by purchasing a Shout Out in our Mamma Mia! playbill. This is an excellent opportunity to send a heartfelt message of encouragement to your student or any member of the cast, crew, or pit musicians. Whether it's a simple "Break a Leg!" message, a favorite quote, or a special note of love and support, your words will have a significant impact on the young performers. Additionally, by purchasing a Shout Out, you are not only showing your support for musical theatre member but also contributing to the success of our production. The funds raised from these shout-outs help cover production costs, including costumes, props, sets, and technical equipment. Your contribution directly benefits our students and ensures that we can continue to provide them with an enriching theater experience. We truly appreciate your continued support of our theater program and your commitment to the success and well-being of your student. Together, we can make Mamma Mia! a production to remember. Thank you for being an essential part of our high school's artistic journey. We look forward to seeing you at the show! MHS FIRST Robotics World Championship Image

MHS FIRST Robotics World Championship

by: Brian Scharles

At the 2025 Wisconsin Regional, MHS FIRST Robotics Team 930 was honored to receive the FIRST Impact Award. This is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. The Mukwonago BEARs earned this award due to our programming and team support across the world, organizing LEGO Robotics teams and competitions, running dozens of workshops to help other teams, and much more. Earning this award qualifies the team to compete at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX with 600 other teams from across the globe. Our anticipated budget for this trip is over $20,000, which includes registration, food, transportation and hotel costs. Team 930 has a supportive group of sponsors that helps fund our program so we can compete in various regional competitions every season; however, getting our group of students and mentors to Houston is an added expense. It will take a substantial amount of funding to get our 30 students and 15 mentors, plus our robot, tools and parts to Texas to compete on the world stage. We are very appreciative of anyone who is able to help Team 930 get to Houston and hopefully bring a World Championship back to Mukwonago, WI. For videos, photos and more information about the team, visit www.team930.com. Go BEARs!
