Greendale Serving Greendale for MLK Day

by: Jerad Galante

On Monday January 15, 2024, the nation celebrates the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Greendale Schools will celebrate Dr. King’s legacy with a day of service and some professional learning. MLK Day is the only Federal Holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their community. For the 2024 Community Day of Service we will embrace Greendale Serving Greendale. Addressing food insecurity for children is our priority since this is one of our greatest student needs. Please consider making a monetary donation that can be used to help a family experiencing hunger. Our goal is to pack backpacks with food and/or supplies for children in need. We are prioritizing addressing food insecurity for children since this is one of our greatest student needs.
