GREENDALE HIGH SCHOOL WEIGHT ROOM RENOVATION

by: Jerad Galante

I’m excited to share an incredible opportunity to elevate the Greendale community and support our students through the Greendale High School Weight Room Renovation Project. Our current facilities are outdated and limit our students' potential in athletics and physical education. By investing in a modern, state of the art weight room, we can provide students with the resources they need to excel in sports, develop healthy habits, and build confidence. This renovation will not only benefit student-athletes but will also promote overall wellness and teamwork amongst all students. Let’s come together to create a vibrant space that inspires dedication and success. Join me in making this vision a reality for the future of Greendale! - Jermaine Murry Head Coach, Greendale Football Project Vision: To transform our current weight room into a state-of-the-art performance and training center that elevates the training of our Panther students athletes and community while maximizing existing space. The revitalized space will help us accomplish our vision through enhanced programming, increased space, and utilizing cutting edge equipment. What is the need? The state of our weight room equipment, which is nearly 30 years old and some machines are even older, is a concern. This equipment pre-dates our current space and limits our ability to effectively train our students and athletes. The floor is uneven and padding is not secured to the floor, lack of open space and functionality hinders our training programs. addition, our current weight room also lacks the necessary storage, space and functionality to utilize a variety of other tools for training of our athletes and students within class. The new layout would create a better system to use a variety of tools such as sleds, TRX bands, flexbands, kettle bells, medicine balls, and a variety of other things. At the same time, it will provide proper storage to store each thing to keep our weight room organized, clean and functional. The area will include: 20 rack systems with benches 5-7 Glute/Ham Developer machines 6 additional dumbbell New floor with platform inlays Indoor turf for sled work and speed training All rack systems will include: med balls, flexbands All plates custom designed with panther logo In addition, the new weight room will also include the following: Sound proof structure State of the art sound system Monitors for programmed lifts for all students iPads to keep track of all lifts for all students (id number required) The Advantages Major attraction for keeping kids wanting to stay in our building to train. State of the art facility that sets the standard amongst schools SE WI. Benefits of universal machines to be used for adaptive PE classes. The layout of the room provides more working space for large classes, teams, and groups. Better facility to promote wellness for our students. Competitive training advantage for our student-athletes. New equipment and training methods to enhance a rich tradition of strength at Greendale High School. Enhance and create a new and exciting culture of Strength & Conditioning that coaches, teachers, and students can rally behind. Total cost- Projected $1.5 -2.0 Million Dollars Revenue raised for this project will be provided by 100% private donors and sponsors. Each person that contributes to this project will be recognized as part of our giving levels on our donor wall. (unless they prefer to remain anonymous) Giving Levels Panther: ($250,000 or more) Branding throughout the room Name/Business Logo on the Wall Primary Spot on the Donor Board Roll Dale: ($150,000 to $249,999) Name/Business Logo go on the Wall Name at the top of the Donor Board Platinum: ($50,000 to $149,999) Name/Business Logo go on the Wall Name at the top of the Donor Board Kelly Green: ($1000 to $49,999) Name goes on the Wall with smaller business logo 2nd Tier of the Donor Board White: ($500 to $999) 3rd Tier of the Donor Board Barbell Level: ($499 or less) 4th Tier of the Donor Board Naming rights to our entire weight room is available if donor(s) provide 75% of total project costs 2,000 for $1,000 campaign We are reaching out to 2000 alumni, friends and family members to support our weight room renovation project. Your contribution can make a significant impact! If you’re willing to donate $1,000, consider breaking it down into manageable monthly payments of just $100. Together, we can reach our ambitious goal of $2 million and create a state-of-the-art facility for our community. Join us in making this vision a reality!
