Setting Bandits up for Success

Gaston has a wonderful learning community of 4K-3rd grade students, families, and staff. We are hosting our 1st Bandit Bandwagon event, a COVID safe opportunity for families to see, honk and wave at the Gaston staff. Purposes of the event include; building school spirit, students' sense of belonging, and community during this unprecedented time of virtual learning; along with setting each family up for success for the 2nd Quarter. Each car will get a "goodie bag" filled with resources that include information about how to get support for learning and basic needs. Children's books will also be in the bags to help build family libraries at home. The donation funds from this campaign will help support our "goodie bag" as well as future family distribution of supplies; learning resources, materials, and books.
