Power the Pack - Algoma School District Athletic Field Renovations

Right now, Algoma student athletes compete off campus for football. Our teams share space, work around limitations, and play games on facilities that no longer meet the standard they deserve. It impacts safety of our student athletes and limits opportunities. We believe that athletes in the Algoma School District should be given a home field for games and practices that compare to neighboring districts and schools within our conference. In order for this to happen, renovations are needed to the athletic field located at Algoma High School. With a new multi-use building for tickets, concessions, and restrooms, along with a plaza for viewing games, new bleachers and press box, lighting, and scoreboard, Algoma Middle/High School can once again host home games on campus. By allowing these renovations to take place, we are able to move soccer games into our new sports complex. Why This Matters: * Own our facility: Investing in a permanent home, not rented space * Generate revenue locally: Hosting home games and events will benefit the Algoma Community * Reduce travel & costs: Keep athletes and families closer to home * Improve Safety & playability: Eliminate shared field conflicts and wear on field * Unlock full potential: Ability to host playoff games in the future
